Progressive Consulting Services (PCS) has developed an outstanding reputation for helping organizations create and fulfill their mission statements through the achievement of measurable results. By using a process of change, PCS seeks to identify and enhance the strengths and minimize the weaknesses of each organization with which it works. In addition, we transfer essential management skills, knowledge and techniques to increase the organization's overall capabilities. We work extensively with executive teams and individuals throughout the process. For high school students, all the material is delivered in class rooms or through individual sessions to ensure maximum retention and application.


Training, coaching and customized materials are offered by Progressive Consulting Services in these areas:

Leadership: Progressive Consulting Services works with executives to enable them to lead effectively by developing and enhancing a number of key skills and practices. These skills are highly sought after by organizations as they involve dealing with individuals and teams in such a way as to motivate, enthuse and build respect.

Coaching: Progressive Consulting Services works with an individual to develop awareness which is catalytic for self-improvement. The commitment is over a six month period. The sessions are designed to develop a new set of skills, knowledge and experience to build confidence and enhance performance.

Training Design and Facilitation: Our customized training technique is conducted through workshops, seminars and retreats. These can be designed as one-time offerings to address specific needs within an organization or a series. The trainings bring about greater organizational understanding, skill development and productivity.

High School Leadership: Working inside the classroom and one on one, teens are provided a hands on practical approach that enables each teen to learn concepts and practice immediate application. These can be designed as one-time offering to address specific needs within a grade level or a scope and sequence for all high school grade levels. The trainings provide leadership understanding, skill development and instill greater confidence.

Conflict Management: Progressive Consulting Services works with an organization to ensure each participant gains knowledge and skills in assessing conflict and learn the tools to manage it effectively. The session identifies the nature of conflict, presents major conflict management styles, and provides tools for conflict resolution.

Communication Development: Progressive Consulting Services works with participants to learn how to convey their ideas more effectively and interact with others more productively—both verbally and through writing. The session highlights the fundamentals of effective communication which include: listening, feedback skills, non-verbal body language, writing effectively, and presenting yourself and your ideas.

Team Building: Working with teams and individuals, PCS enables teams to develop new collaborative habits, cultivate leadership skills, improve communication practices, and foster an environment of peer accountability. In addition, fundamental meeting management and brainstorming skills are developed.

Effective Delegation: This session focuses on the importance of effective delegation in an organization. It helps the individual to understand the benefits of effective delegation and outlines the eight steps which help develop the skills to create an effective delegation process.

Facilitation and Effective Meetings: Being able to facilitate and run an effective meeting is critical for all organizations. This session is designed for participants who want to conduct and manage effective meetings including: brainstorming sessions, lead discussions and develop tasks to ensure positive results.

Negotiation and Persuasive Techniques: Each participant will gain the ability to understand negotiation strategy. We then develop an effective customized process to learn new techniques and skills to negotiate successfully.

Management and Strategic Planning: Progressive Consulting Services assists an organization's management to determine its strategic direction. We review the external market and the organization’s mission statement, values, and programs to generate short and long term strategic plans. We then determine the organization's resource capability including human and funding resource needs based on the proposed strategic plan.

Organizational Assessment and Development: We work with staff and management to create a unique process to analyze the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to ensure its overall effectiveness in fulfilling its mission. Based on the recommendations, we create a strategy for improvement.

Fundraising Campaign Design: We assist management to identify funding needs as well as funding sources. We also identify alternative sources of support (volunteer networks, membership drives, events, etc.) that can be achieved through community outreach and effective public relations.

Human Resource Development: The individual is the organization's most valuable asset. Each individual requires skills to effectively handle their programs or administrative responsibilities. Progressive Consulting Services’ process for working with individuals increases productivity, motivation and job satisfaction.

Project Design and Program Development: Progressive Consulting Services develops a framework to evaluate current projects/programs and design new ones in accordance with the organization’s mission. This framework requires the concise articulation of goals, objectives, possible approaches and operations, activities, timelines, budgets and evaluation methods.

Monitoring and Evaluation Design: Progressive Consulting Services has designed an evaluation process that enables an organization to monitor its management, operations, finance and program areas to ensure that growth and progress for the organization are measurable. In addition, PCS transfers to the client the skills and techniques used for evaluations.

Effective Interviewing: We work with each individual to understand the interview process and develop awareness of how to present your skills, knowledge and experience effectively for promotions, potential jobs and prospective colleges. The sessions include preparation, engagement and follow-up to the interview. PCS also helps the participants to master their non-verbal communication.
